The Emergency Medical Center has taken the main work in establishing these three major centers: stroke, trauma, and chest pain center of Jiangsu Province Hospital. We have efficiently constructed the “emergency green path” and promoted the process of diagnosis and treatment for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.
Another emergency core technology of our center is Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation（ECMO）support. So far, our center is the only emergency department in Jiangsu Province that can perform ECMO technology independently and using ECMO treatment during resuscitation effectively, which is at the leading position of Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) in the domestic emergency medical team. Apart from that, our center is currently undertaking the quality control work of poisoning treatment base in Jiangsu Province, both in the clinical application and in the academic research. We are in a leading position in the field of Poisoning in Jangsu province.
Medical Conditions Treated in Emergency Medicine Include:
Acute cerebrovascular disease
Acute Pulmonary embolism
